Alex Kondakov

I'm the drummer for the band Settlers, and I also do studio sessions and develop my own musical project. I'm a fan of heavy music, but I have a strong jazz background and ten years of experience working in various orchestras.

After seeing and playing Symrna Istanbul Jazz for the first time, I fell in love with it, so I'm thrilled to finally join the Symrna family.

Settlers is a band creating original, vibrant, folk-inspired music. The single "Po Kamushku" was a breakthrough for the band – the track has accumulated over 80 million plays and appeared on all possible Russian playlists and charts.
