Based in Mississippi, USA, Jeremy K. Freelon is a dynamic drummer and educator who blends performance, education, and digital content creation into a modern musical voice. Holding a B.A. in Music Education from the University of Mississippi, he currently teaches over 70 students at Lafayette Upper Elementary, actively shaping the next generation of musicians.
Jeremy’s approach to drumming is rooted in sound, feel, and musical expression. This philosophy aligns naturally with the tonal depth and character of Symrna Cymbals. His current setup includes models from the Icon, Dual Tone, Araf, and Chimera series, which he uses to craft a wide and expressive sonic palette.
In addition to his work as a performer and educator, Jeremy is an active content creator, sharing his passion through clinics, workshops, and online platforms. He is also recognized as an Education Artist with leading industry brands such as Remo and Vic Firth.
